Community Guidelines

Intercessors exists to create a safe, welcoming, and spiritually nourishing space for Christians to pray, share testimonies, grow in discipleship, and support one another in faith. Our community is built on love, respect, and a shared commitment to Jesus Christ. These Community Guidelines define what behaviour and content is acceptable on our platform. By using Intercessors, you agree to uphold these standards and help us maintain a community that honours God and protects every member.

The following types of content are welcomed and encouraged on Intercessors:

• •Prayer requests for yourself, others, your city, or the world
• •Faith testimonies of healing, provision, restoration, and God's grace
• •Encouragement, scripture sharing, and uplifting messages
• •Church information, profiles, and event listings
• •Discipleship discussions, mentorship conversations, and spiritual questions
• •Respectful questions about faith, theology, and Christian living
• •Community group posts related to prayer and shared faith

The following content is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate removal and account action:

• •Harassment, bullying, or personal attacks against any user
• •Hate speech targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, disability, or sexual orientation
• •Threats, intimidation, or incitement to violence
• •Sexual, explicit, or adult content of any kind
• •Spam, scams, unsolicited advertising, or fraudulent offers
• •Impersonation of other users, public figures, or organisations
• •Creating fake church, ministry, organisation, or leader profiles is prohibited
• •Content promoting illegal activity or facilitating harm
• •Sharing another person's private information without their explicit consent (doxxing)

When sharing prayer requests and testimonies, we ask all members to:

• •Be truthful — only share genuine requests and testimonies
• •Respect the privacy of others — avoid sharing personal details about third parties without permission
• •Avoid naming individuals in a negative context without their consent
• •Never exploit vulnerable people or use emotional language to manipulate others
• •Be sensitive when sharing content involving grief, illness, or trauma

Users can report content, groups, prayer requests, testimonies, and user profiles through the in-app reporting tools. Reports are reviewed by the Intercessors moderation team. To report content: tap the flag or report icon on any post, prayer request, testimony, group, or profile. You will be asked to select a reason for your report. All reports are confidential. Reports are typically reviewed within 72 hours, although urgent safety concerns may be prioritised and reviewed sooner. We take every report seriously. Our moderation team reviews reported content and takes appropriate action, which may include:

• •Content review — assessing the reported item against these guidelines
• •Warning — notifying the user that their content violates our guidelines
• •Content removal — deleting content that breaches these guidelines
• •Temporary restrictions — limiting a user's ability to post or interact
• •Account suspension — a temporary ban pending review
• •Permanent ban — for serious, repeated, or irreversible violations
• •Repeated or severe violations may result in permanent account removal and loss of access to Intercessors services.

Intercessors has zero tolerance for any content that exploits, endangers, or is directed at the abuse of minors. This includes but is not limited to sexual content, grooming behaviour, or any content that could put a child at risk. Any such content is removed immediately upon discovery. Where legally required, we report such incidents to the relevant national authorities. Users found to have posted or distributed such content will be permanently banned. Parents and guardians are encouraged to supervise minors using this platform.

These Community Guidelines may be updated as our community grows and as new situations arise. We will notify users of significant changes via the app or email where possible. Continued use of Intercessors after a guideline update constitutes acceptance of the revised guidelines. The most current version is always available at intercessors.app/community-guidelines.
